Live Simple. A quiet day is a perfect day for me. Simply stated, I am happiest when my life is as simple as possible.
Beginnings. My mom taught me knitting basics when I was about 10 years old. Remember those pastel aluminum straight needles? And the clicking sounds they made… good stuff!
Knitting Joy. In my 30’s I picked up some old knitting needles and got out some yarn to calm my mind… It wasn’t long until I was knitting something every day. I discovered so many new techniques, learned about yarns, and upgraded my vintage aluminum needles. I may have gotten a little obsessed but it was so calming and soothing to do, I just never put the yarn down.
Knit however & whatever you want to. – I knit English style / MagicLoop in the round / DPNs for fun / I’m obsessed with tidiness / keep a minimal yarn stash / and I’m always knitting socks…
Patterns & Designs. – For new knitters, I do my best to include every detail. For the experienced knitters that don’t really need all the details, I hope to inspire and share my best tips and tricks.
