Build your own color palette – WoolWarehouse giveaway
I’m a big fan of WoolWarehouse for yarn and they have a fun way to build your own yarn color palette right now! I have always appreciated WoolWarehouse for their fantastic selection, great prices, and super fast shipping. I’m in the US and it can take a really long time to get things from the UK. I don’t know how they do it, (must be magic) but every time I’ve ordered from them, it shows up remarkably fast for little to no shipping costs. Their packaging is also over-the-top awesome. Everything is bundled beautifully as if it came from a cozy little shop.
I saw a post on Instagram this week asking for customers to help select new colors WoolWarehouse will carry from Yarnsmiths Create collection. Now, I’ll be honest, I don’t knit with acrylic yarn much, I discovered wool and wool blends and have had a hard time going back to the acrylic I learned with. However, there are projects where acrylic is best suited and Yarnsmiths Create offers many weights and sooo many colors, I may have some on the needles soon.
What’s your personal palette?
I am a total sucker for quizzes, polls, create-your-owns… so when WoolWarehouse put this offer out there, I was all in! It’s incredibly fun, you are able to see ALL the colors their buyers are considering. I started scrolling and clicking on the ones that made me happy, not thinking of how they would go together. I often have this issue with yarn shopping. Once I had selected my limit, this lovely palette appeared and I noticed something – I definitely have a personal palette!
Nature inspires me, comforts me, entertains me. So it’s no surprise there’s a lot of woodsy and lakeside colors here. I’m curious now, are most people this way, drawn to specific colors or would your palette look more like a bright rainbow?
