What do you like to do while you relax and knit?
I’m a huge fan of audiobooks and podcasts. Knitting with a good book in my ears, or some entertaining podcasters is a blissful escape for me. I still make time to read actual books, but usually I have a reading-book AND a listening-book on the go.
The last couple books I listened to were Agatha Christie’s And Then There Were None and Murder on the Orient Express. Fantastic 6-7 hour listens, in case you need a good recommendation.

Beach Books
I get asked for beach-read recommendations every summer and the book I’ve recommended most over the years is Barefoot by Elin Hilderbrand.
Elin Hilderbrand is one of my favorite authors. I have read almost every book she’s published (I skip the short stories…just a personal preference thing). I’ve read and listened to Barefoot multiple times and I enjoy it every time. It’s got everything you want in a summer book. So, it seemed like the obvious choice as an audiobook gift for the giveaway.

I love to put my iPods in and listen to podcasts or audible.
I also love tv /Netflix knitting.
Listening to jazz or classical music when I’m slow knitting and dance /electronic music when I’m really into a project and want to speed knit!
Love sitting on my back deck on my swing with a cup of coffee first thing in the morning and getting some knitting in. In front of the fire pit at my sisters house. In my local park there is a gazebo and a duck pond next to it. I watch the ducks and knit, it’s so zen! So many things to do and places to go while knitting! My list is endless. I even once knitted a mitten while on my treadmill.😂 that takes a bit of coordination and practice.😀
Knitting on the treadmill, now that’s impressive! I do enjoy knitting everywhere too.

I love listening to podcasts while I knit. I also knit while my husband and I watch the news. And football season is for knitting on my huge mitered square blanket! I would miss the whole game if not for instant replay…..
