The Details…
Sharing yarn is fun! I recently went through my stash and discovered a very full bag of 20g mini skeins. All sorts of colors, speckled, variegated, tonal… All amazing and deserving of being made into a treasured item.
To celebrate one year of WoolenCottage on the world wide web, I am giving away a bundle of 5, 20g mini skeins of fingering weight yarn. Surprise colors… but you can always make requests!
Giveaways with all sorts of rules make me cringe. Knitting is a calm, relaxing thing for me, so of course this giveaway should match that vibe.

I love reading comments on my site and others I follow. Some inspire me, others make me laugh, but it’s all good fun.
To enter this giveaway, just comment below your favorite thing to do with mini skeins. Feel like sharing more? Let us know what colors are tickling your fancy these days. I’ve recently been in a pink mood… which is super strange for me but I’m embracing it! 💕
The Winner
I’ll close out entries at 23:59 CST March 17th. The winner will be determined by a random number generator. Sorry, no bonus points for awesome comments, although they do make me smile!
The winner will be contacted via email the following day. Once I’ve got an address for shipping, I’ll send the lucky knitter a bundle right away.

Minis, are great, I love making socks or shawls with them, I tried a blanket once, but had hard time with such long rows and having enough per mini skein. I also did a hat with 25 minis, it was lovely but turned out too small so I gifted it to my neighbour, she looks great in it.

OH what a fun giveaway! I enjoy making all kinds of things with minis and I have an advent/minis bundle of all the patterns I’d love to make, but I especially love shawls and blankets. I like sweaters too and have several I’d like to make once I get another advent or enough minis!

Minis are great pops of color in jumpers and hats. I am a CSM sock knitter and toes and heels out of minis are fun and I dont do matchy matchy anything which is great for minis. Such fun little buggers…

I love using minis for cowls, pops of color in shawls, scrappy blankets, or little things like ornaments.

The thing I would love to do with mini skeins right now is embark on making whimsical mittens (there’s a Muppets Statler and Waldorf pair that looks great) and sweaters (like Tanis Lavallee’s rainbow ones). Thank you so much for offering this giveaway!

I love mini skeins to make preemie baby stocking caps that I donate to local hospital neonatal units.

I just discovered you through Ravelry while looking for baby socks. Those Tiny Toes baby socks look so adorable, so those mini skeins would be put to great use for my first grandchild, due in June. Thanks for the chance!
